Journal North Obituary Submission

Obituaries and Memorial/Anniversary notices are charged at $10.00 per column inch per day. When you submit the obituary the following information is required: Your Name, Address, Home Phone Number, and the name of the funeral home or cremation society. We do accept photographs for our obituaries; however, color photographs will be converted to be black and white for publication. Omission of any of the prior may delay publication.

NOTE: All obituaries must be verified with the funeral home before appearing in the newspaper.

Obituary Information

Staff is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Obituaries must be received and approved by 3 p.m. for next day publication. We cannot be responsible for lost or delayed e-mail. Obituaries are processed in the order they are received. You will receive a call from our company to verify this obituary. If you do not receive a call please call us at (505)988-8881.

The Albuquerque Publishing Company requires prepayment for any notice placed by out-of-state customers. You will be contacted by a representative to approve charges.

In-state customers: If the obituary is less than $100, you may be billed. Obituaries over $100 may be paid for with credit- or check- cards over the phone. You will be contacted by a representative to approve charges.
