Sandra Gail McQuarie, 60, of Santa Fe, NM, passed away on January 15, 2011 due to Cancer. Sandra was born on October 17, 1950 in Greenwood, MS, to Roy and Helen Jackson. She married Lawrence McQuarie on December 13, 1975 in Santa Fe, NM. Sandra was an owner/operator of "Hair by Sandra", owner of "Imperial Beauty Supply", and was a hairdresser for over 40 years. She loved gambling, dancing and laughing. She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Jackson and mother, Helen C. Jackson both of Greenwood, MS. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence McQuarie of Santa Fe, NM, son, Travis McQuarie and wife Kristina of Salem, OR, daughter, Lori McQuarie of Santa Fe, NM, grandchildren, Zachary McQuarie and Markee McQuarie both of Salem, OR, Rebecca Montano of Farmington, NM, brother, Bill Jackson of Kimberling, MO, brother, Eugene (Joe) Jackson and wife June of Lowell, AR; sister, Margie Moore and husband Joe of Lubbock, TX; mother-in-law, Marie McQuarie; sister-in-law, Anna Marie McQuarie; brother-in-law, Charles McQuarie all of Santa Fe, NM; aunt, Pat McQuarie of Albuquerque, NM; many nieces and nephews, special friends, Charlotte Jackson, Lynn Moon, Terri May, Nettie Griego, Tina Madrid and the girls at Hair House Salon. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 3:00 p.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Christus St. Vincent's Cancer Center.
